I'm Carrie Manning.

 

For the past 25 years, I dedicated my time to raising my children, caring for my family, and building my hair business. In September 2020, I experienced a stroke that profoundly changed my life. Unsure where to begin but recognizing the need for a shift, I turned to painting as my therapy and that is where it began.

 

Art became my essential therapy. After years of a fast-paced lifestyle, constantly functioning in fight or flight mode, I realized I craved a different life.

Four years later, I now have the opportunity to share RosePetals+Sage.

In many ways its a collection of all my passions in one place.

I love to plant

 

I'm passionate about ceramics, both wheel throwing and hand building, beginner to advanced furniture painting techniques with various clay-based paints, mixed-media arts combining both my love of acrylics and oil together, exploring painting on different textures having unlimited possibilities.

 

My experiences throughout the last few years have led me to pursue my Art Therapy Practitioner Certification.  

 

Through RosePetals+Sage, I hope to inspire you and others by sharing tips and tricks and step-by-step tutorials along with stories of creativity, vulnerability, and connection.

My aspiration is to encourage you to pursue your passions and create a little joy in your life every single day.
